Handover act with inventory and meter readings

Records the condition of the home, the keys, the meter readings and the furniture and appliances on the day it changes hands.

  1. Fill it in together, in the home, on the day the keys change hands: when a tenant moves in and again when they move out, or when a buyer gets the keys.
  2. Go room by room. Note scratches, stains and anything that doesn't work, and take photos or a video with the date.
  3. Write down every meter reading: they decide who pays which bill.
  4. Sign two copies. This act is part of the lease or the sale: when the tenant leaves, compare the two acts to settle the deposit.
