Warning signs of a scam
A price far below the market, pressure to decide now, a request to move to another app, or payment by card transfer to a stranger.
Be careful when:
- the price is far below similar homes nearby (compare with Prices);
- you’re rushed: “many people want it, pay today”;
- the seller can’t show the home or the documents;
- you’re asked to move to another messenger at once or to follow a link to “confirm the booking” or “receive payment”;
- you’re asked for a card number, a code from an SMS or your realest.am password.
When in doubt, stop and report the listing.
