Two-factor sign-in

With two-factor sign-in, signing in needs your password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password and others).

1. Open Settings and find Two-factor sign-in; press Turn on.
2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the code it shows.
3. Save the recovery codes somewhere safe. Each one lets you sign in once if you lose your phone.

You can create new recovery codes or turn two-factor sign-in off in the same place.
